Mothers per Minute
Mothers per Minute is a performance that holds the form of a red light district where visitors engage in their neglected need for maternal compassion and care. Together with a mother of their choice, visitors are engaged in small-scale activities, designed and carried out by mothers aiming to provide an opportunity for heart warming small talk. Through the engagement in a third focal point, such as “solitaire”, “hang laundry,” “bake waffles” or “be a little sick”, visitors are invited to confront their ideals around authenticity and maternal love.
